If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
There's not much to it. Stick it in your ears and enjoy. I never used the foam tips. Made it sound odd, and look odd too. These headphones have the highest of clarity, sharpness hi fidelity accuracy out of all headphones. They were really enjoyable. Then the more expensive headphones came out...- Tempy-17

Make your own Headphone brands
This is about making dream headphone brands from your personal self. Mine are: Phononem - this is meant to be like Philips. Quality English people headphones. Caltime - expensive headphones sounding like the 64 Audio Tia Trio sort of thing. Tehnse or Gentse or Technogrid- like the old music...- Tempy-17

SONY NW-ZX2
I don't use Tidal on this anymore. The service kept deleting the valuable tracks.... but it was good while it lasted.- Tempy-17

most analogue/valve/tube sounding digital media player (dap)
I'm just recommending a tubey sounding device for the thread starter. There's nothing wrong with my Calyx M. I'm describing the tube sound. It's like a larger bass sound that seems to come out of being strained and it's mid-range is warm and snachy. The Class A amp in it helps.- Tempy-17

Are Super High End DAPs Really Worthy?
I never use Sony DSEE HX. Think it sounds fake. I'd rather have the original proper sound. But I always use BBE effects on the Cowons. They are actually special.- Tempy-17

Are Super High End DAPs Really Worthy?
I meant spacey as in in Space, like in a space station or at a dark facility on another planet like Venus. A starry in a black background kind of effect of electronic sound texture :video_game:😉.- Tempy-17

Are Super High End DAPs Really Worthy?
I was listening to my Cowon Plenue 2 through my Tia Trio last night and noticed that it sounded spacey. The Cowon Plenue D sounds spacey too but on the littler side. I'd rather have an expensive spacey device being able to drive more expensive headphones. I'm happy with my expensive Plenue 2 and...- Tempy-17
