Does anyone know of a Guitar Center coupon code for August? The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's have dropped to $169.99. 

Best price I could get from JR on the D2000 was $299.

Yeah they were taking pre-orders over the phone back in May. Not sure if they are still doing so. 

Just a heads up for anyone who has a pre order for the d2000's from Electronics Expo. They were supposed to get a shipment in Monday or Tuesday. I called them to find out the status of my order and now the ETA is late July or August.

Where did you find them for $35 shipped?

I connected my iPod to my stereo recevier and they are def a lot better. They are plenty loud and the bass has really picked up when using an EQ. I have 30 days to make my decision. I wish there was somewhere near Philly that I could demo the Ultrasone DJ1's and Sony XB500's.

Do you think I would be better off with the Ultrasone Hi-Fi 580 or Sony XB500? I considered both but I felt that the DT770's would rattle my head while providing good mids and highs.
