    I SWEAR this is the best news I've heard in a while.  I LOVE my IE8 but I need the iPhone functionality and I was looking for a Klipsch x10i to use with my iPhone.  BUT NOW, while I'm still looking for the x10i for their comfort, I will definitely be buying one of these cables for the iPhone.

    Mic remote for Senns IE8?

    Does this actually work?  I have called the Sennheiser folks and asked if the cable for the IE8i could be used on the IE8 for iPhone compatibility and they assured me it COULD NOT.  I know they want to sell more pairs of IE8i but it would be AWESOME if this cable actually worked.  Please tell me!

    I don't know why no one has offered an opinion for these but in my opinion the Triple Fi is AWESOME for the type of music you mentioned.  The IE8 is a very fun IEM but the Triple Fi has more separation and a better soundstage.

    This is an interesting thread.  When I bought cheap (sub $50) earphones I used to simply throw them in my backpack but I searched for a better way to store them when I upgraded to the big boys.  Right now I used the stock cases for my higher end earphones and an altoids can for my NuForce NE-7M...

    iem for hip-hop?

    A little late to the party but I find that the NuForce NE-7M with comply tips make Hip Hop sound INCREDIBLE.  It has nice quick bass and it can go deep.  The best thing is that its not tiring for long periods.  BUT NOTHING BEATS IE8 for hip hop!!!
