New Audio Technica ATH-M50x with Removable Cable

From what I've heard, Audio Technica improved the earpads and headband and made them more comfortable.

    Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R

I only had the mdr-1r for a few a few days but I can definitely say that the mdr-1a has better clarity and a tighter bass response. The mdr-1r has significantly gone down in price though, so whether the clarity is worth the higher price is up to you. All I can say is that I enjoyed both pairs.

New Audio Technica ATH-M50x with Removable Cable

Thanks guys for your quick responses!! I really want to get my hands on them now but they won't arrive until later this week. I'm glad that audio technica included a 1.2 meter straight cable as it makes these cans a more palatable option for portable use.

New Audio Technica ATH-M50x with Removable Cable

After a lot research for the best headphones under $200 I ended up ordering the blue/tan m50's. I'm really excited but I'm a little worried that my galaxy s4 and iPad mini won't be enough to power them. Anyone with experience on this matter, is the m50 easy to drive? If it helps, I got the...

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

Awesome!! Even though I ended up returning them, they were the best bluetooth headphones I had ever tried. I ended up upgrading to the mdr-1a and should be getting them this week.

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

I only had the beats for a couple of days but from what I heard the beats' bass was leaner which made it sound slightly less thick. I found the xb-950bt's bass to be more fun and engaging. I actually found beats' wired mode to sound less engaging than in wireless mode. As for the xb-950bt's bass...

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

For the money, the xb-950bt is a much better headphone. The beats studio wireless does have a slightly cleaner sound signature but the bass on the xb-950bt hits harder and is tighter. I also found the beats to be slower than the 950bt. So if you are dead set on a basshead headphone, these are...

    Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R

Just ordered them in black and I'm really excited to try them out!! It also didn't hurt that I was able to get them for $260. I originally got the mdr-xb950bt and even though they were very comfortable, they had a little too much bass for my tastes. Hopefully these will be what I am looking for.

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

I'm sad to say that I ended up returning the headphones. I really wanted to like them as I found them really comfortable and stylish. The sound is also really really good for it being bluetooth but it just had a little too much bass for my liking. That said, if you are a basshead, you cannot go...

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

Just got my pair a few days ago and wanted to give my initial impressions. These cans definitely emphasize the bass but still manage to maintain the rest of the spectrum balanced. Build quality is more than adequate for the price and it feels very similar the mdr-1r. Battery life has been really...

    Sony MDR-XB950BT Bluetooth headphones

Just ordered them through Sony's website and should be getting them early next week. I'm new to Head-Fi but I hope to post some impressions as I have always been interested in wireless headphones.

Reviewers Wanted: Be One Of The First to Experience the RHA T10i

I am extremely interested in reviewing this particular set of headphones, the T10i. The only rha headphones I've owned were the sa950i. I thought that for the price they were very competent. I've also heard many positive reviews on how rha produces great headphones for the money. Seeing this...
