Did you experience electrical noise out of the casing? I've sent my R7 for inspection and exchange but Fiio Support in Germany told me that this is normal due to the used swichting power supply and nearly all units have this small noise problem. In your review nothing about this is mentioned...!?

Bluetooth and High-End Audio simply do not fit together! Bluetooth is suitable for MP3 or Streaming, but not for High Resolution audio. You're obviously not Yamahas peer group for that amplifier. Of course you could simply connect a Bluetooth transmitter to the line out of the Yamaha Amp. Easy...

NO! Display settings is restricted to a maximum of 30minutes and Nilbie want's to have the display always on. @Nilbie: - you can have a workaround by using a screensaver. That way the screen stays on. - maybe you can adjust s.th. via Android developer options: Go to Settings -> About Device...

299,- is very cheap for a set of (hopefully good) small speakers. Design in white looks good to me. I'm curious how good they'll sound AND how reliable they are. Have a look at Genelec and Neumann for example. But those are another league than Fiio of course.

Tested with a few power sockets in the house: Always the same. The noise goes away or get's quieter as soon as the R7 is playing something with headphones connected
