I plan on flying Southwest Airlines. I plan to bring with me a pair of headphones that will be secured in a Pelican hard case. Along with my backpack, will Southwest allow me to carry on the Pelican hard case as well? I haven't flown in years.

Has anyone ran into finding solder on their brass fittings (ferrules?) I tried asking Hifiman about it, but due to the language barrier and I assume they are using google translate, I am getting zero answers.
