If that's the case then his markup is surprisingly low actually. I think you'd probably crap yourself if you saw Nordost's margins.- Super Pang

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
As someone who only pops into the Chord threads on here now and then, I just have to say @Rob Watts, you have the patience of a saint for politely putting up with years of armchair experts bastardising your designs with increasingly nutty mods and acting like they've cracked cold fusion.- Super Pang

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Sell/return the TT2. Not dissing the TT2 here at all, it's a great product, but I think audiophiles need to admit that, for whatever reason, this happens sometimes. Don't waste your time hoping the device, or your ears, will "burn in". Don't waste your money on fancy cables or PSU upgrades. Get...- Super Pang

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
Everyone except the designer. And by "almost everyone", you mean the minority of customers who spend too much time on Hifi forums. SMPS are the foundation of all Chord Electronics products so I really can't see this changing. I doubt its affecting sales at all.- Super Pang

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
https://www.e-earphone.jp/products/detail/1399055/2069/ via https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/urlOrder/ Despite the terrible value of sterling and a full customs charge, it still came in under the price of my UK unit, which went back to Amazon.- Super Pang

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
My Eurotrash unit is heading back to Amazon on Monday as I've got a Japanese model on the way from e-earphone via fromjapan. Good riddance. Oh why does it hate me so. Any more than an album at a time and it throws up an error of some sort. Had to plug the SD card in for the bulk. That's Jacob...- Super Pang

This is the Japanese model without the "EU volume cap". It has an English option so otherwise functions in the same way as the UK version. Boxed with accessories. Also includes the CKL-NWZX2 leather folding case, which I don't believe was sold in the UK. The Walkman is in excellent condition...- Super Pang

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
You'd have to dig out Hi-Fi World's measurements for all three products because one person's measurements are not necessarily comparable to someone else's, as has been demonstrated many times of late. And would it really matter if TT2 had better SINAD than DAVE? Rob Watts primary focus is his...- Super Pang

Hifi World measured the TT2 years ago FWIW. https://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/index.php/cd-dvd-blu-ray/62-cd-reviews/912-chord-electronics-hugo-tt2.html?start=3- Super Pang

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
The EU volume cap on this thing is indeed ridiculous. Was listening to an album with DR of 14 earlier on my reasonably sensitive Oppo PM-3 with the volume set at 105/120 and I wasn't listening loud. If I could get one from Japan easily, this would be going back. I really want to use it over...- Super Pang

Yeah, I'll just do this for the bulk of my music and hopefully AFT will be kind for the occasional addition. This has been a reminder of why I'm an Apple user. Android is garbage.- Super Pang
