Strange noises from new Audioengine A2's

Sorry for the lack of updates, everybody.   After about 50 hours of burn-in, this rustling noise got less noticeable, but it's still there if I play a really low frequency loudly. Otherwise, I'm really happy with these speakers. They improve greatly as time goes on.   Audioengine support...

    Musiland Monitor 02 US

Got my Musiland Monitor 02 US today. Took 22 days to get here, which felt like forever, but it was worth it because this thing sounds amazing out of the box. Got it hooked up via coax to my Onkyo TX-SR707 out to Sierra-1 reference monitors, and I am getting chills listening to my hi-res music...

    Affordable isolation bearings & pucks

I'm looking to float my speakers with isolation bearings, but not spending $440 to do it (I'm looking at you, FIM). It has to be possible to get 6 pucks and 6 ball bearings for less than $100.   Anyone got any advice or ideas?

    Musiland Monitor 02 US

Should I set up my XP SP3 laptop for ASIO or kernel streaming? I use Winamp, if that influences things.

    Musiland Monitor 02 US

I'm trying to get to best sound from my office computer, where space is limited. I have Sennheiser HD595 headphones, and Audioengine A2 computer speakers, which are great for their size. I just won a bid for the Musiland Monitor 02 DAC on ebay, and I have a few questions as I work my way through...

Thanks for the reply, AmanGeorge. How do I look at the drivers? I don't know much about speakers.

Strange noises from new Audioengine A2's

I picked up a pair of A2's a couple weeks ago, and while I like the overall sound, I'm concerned by strange noises I'm hearing from the speakers. I'm hoping someone who knows speakers can help me out. In the left speaker, I hear a sound like dry paper rustling on low frequencies. It doesn't...

    Possible? L-plug on Sennheiser PX-100's

Thanks for the replies. I've never soldered, but I'm pretty handy. Does anyone know of an online guide to soldering? That probably sounds silly. I just need some pointers in how big to make the bead, how long to hold the wire against the contact, etc. Thanks.

    Possible? L-plug on Sennheiser PX-100's

Has anyone tried replacing the straight plug on the PX-100's with an L-plug? Is this possible? How would I go about doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
