Got my Musiland Monitor 02 US today. Took 22 days to get here, which felt like forever, but it was worth it because this thing sounds amazing out of the box. Got it hooked up via coax to my Onkyo TX-SR707 out to Sierra-1 reference monitors, and I am getting chills listening to my hi-res music...

I'm looking to float my speakers with isolation bearings, but not spending $440 to do it (I'm looking at you, FIM). It has to be possible to get 6 pucks and 6 ball bearings for less than $100.   Anyone got any advice or ideas?

Thanks for the replies. I've never soldered, but I'm pretty handy. Does anyone know of an online guide to soldering? That probably sounds silly. I just need some pointers in how big to make the bead, how long to hold the wire against the contact, etc. Thanks.

Has anyone tried replacing the straight plug on the PX-100's with an L-plug? Is this possible? How would I go about doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
