    Omaha Head-Fi Meet #3 - October 29th @ CE

I might be there not sure as I might have a new job in KC. If I make it I will be bringing some my Mark L Denons and some Schiit to drive them. :D. Failing that I might have to loan them to Neirika for the event.

    Busted Denon 5K headphones

So I ran into a problem with my Denon 5Ks. The screw that goes from the driver to the headband broke. Is there any way to fix this without using rubber bands or tape? I'll also try to upload some pics of the damage as well.

I might be able to make it. If not I'll try to get a extended lunch and head out there with the Denons in tow.

MARANTZ - SA-KI PEARL SACD - CD PLAYER as a headphone amp?

Do any of the Marantz receivers have built in headphone amps? Or is this only on their CD players?

Quick question regarding the markL mod. Should I allow some break in time for the newly modded cans?

Just about to Pull the Trigger on DENNON AHD2000

For the OP something you might want to consider is the burn in time. The Denons will require a ton of burn in (from what I have seen here 250 - 300 hrs) for their sound to hit their full potential. The good news is that with that burn in some of the bassiness does go away. If your still not...

Good headphones for a serious noob

Not to sound like a irrational fanboy but for about 28 dollars more you could get the Denon AH-D2000s. They are also a good phone to learn how to mod as the MarkL mod is fairly straight forward and cheap to do DIY as long as you follow the instructions and use the templates.   Oh and here's...

    MarkL Mod template question

Cool, So I guess I'm going to have to hit Kinkos and mess with the template a bit.   For right now however I'm going to hold off on performing the mod. The headphones seem fairly new and I want to put about 300 hrs on them to see (or should I say hear) how they turn out.

    MarkL Mod template question

I have been looking into going the MkarkL mod DIY to save some cash on my AH-D5000s. I managed to find a great thread that had a template for the AH-D-20000 however when I printed this off and compared it to my D5000s it did not t seem to mach up right.. Is there a template out there for the...

    Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

Hi fairly long time D&M products user (own a Marantz Receiver) but new D5000 owner. So far I'm loving the 5000s and have taken them everywhere with me (I have used them at work, and use them when I'm working on my notebook at a Starbucks). However I really can't wait to do the the Markl mod this...
