What about the v? Never heard it before. Where does it stands?

  I would say the II sounds a little dry.  

  I just cannot put into words the Heaven II.  It sounds smooth and yet "coarse" at the same time.  However, it is definitely not harsh sounding.

From various online reviews, it seems that the e-Q8 is a good pairing with vorzuge pure II, soundroid vantam, portaphile micro or the hugo/mojo. For me the vorzuge amp works great with the e-Q8!

So is there a knob design for controlling the vent hole size as well other than the variable resistor? Or is the vent hole a complete misconception.

  What are the benefits of having an additional tuning knob? Is it for the mid to high frequencies adjustment?  So the knobs are like a physical EQ?

  Just received the OPUS1.  Very neutral sounding indeed and unlike anything I've heard before from a single ba iem.  They are not very powerful or forward-sounding and sibilance is almost absent, thereby minimising ear fatigue and making the iem comfortable for long duration listening...
