Me too. This is the one, small issue with the RU6, though it only occasionally happens.- StokeNewingtonJohn

Noble Audio FoKus Apollo
The ‘pile on’ Noble has faced in a few recent posts is not terrifically interesting for those who aready own a pair of Apollos or helpful for those thinking about buying one. It’s reminiscent of the measurements debate on the ZMF Bokeh thread a while back. Are the Apollos perfect? No. No...- StokeNewingtonJohn

Curious to know whether anyone else has tried Quad Era-1 planars with their DX340 on super gain mode. The pairing is ridiculously good.- StokeNewingtonJohn

No hiss issues for me whatsoever with CF Supermoon or Mammoth using Amp 15 (just fantastic sound). I’ve yet to get and try out any of the tube Amp cards, though.- StokeNewingtonJohn

Laiv Harmony µDAC, Discrete Balanced R-2R DAC
Hi, is there a Udac owner who’s able to do a quick impressionistic comparison with the Bifrost 2/64, please? I was about to buy a 2/64 but am now thinking about waiting ‘til I can afford the Udac.- StokeNewingtonJohn

I'm afraid that you only need look at the multiple ZMFs mentioned on fellow Head-Fi users' profiles to see that, whatever your first ZMF pair is, it's very much a 'gateway' to more...- StokeNewingtonJohn

So, after what felt like a disproportionate amount of research at the time, I found this perfectly-sized EVA case for the DX340 (which can be used without removing the stock leather case).- StokeNewingtonJohn

To be fair, the stock case is great. I’d just prefer something that encloses the whole player. In black… Jutem’s literally on the case.- StokeNewingtonJohn

They have two sorts of leather: ‘nero’ and a thicker variation (see the picture below). In the pictures I’ve seen both cover all the sharp edges with cutouts for the buttons and connectors. The prices recently were 164.5 dollars and 180 dollars respectively, including shipping costs and PayPal...- StokeNewingtonJohn
