Is there an audible difference if the SSD is connected somewhere else in the network other than directly to the ZS? I am not sure how to test this by moving it away from the ZS. Are there instructions posted anywhere? - Thanks

BTW, got a pair of HiFiMAN RE-252's & it came w/ a plastic clear box, but was thinking of something for it & my Cowon J3...

Sincerely appreciate all the input. I decided to go w/ the Cowon J3. I figured I could get Wi-Fi on my next smartphone. As soon as I get the unit I'll be asking you guys which IEM's match well w/ it.

I was looking at the Cowon D3 & the Sony X series (I guess they are not sold anymore?), but not I thing I am looking at the Cowon J3 & HiFiMan 601. It would be nice to have Wi-Fi, but I guess any smartphone I get in the future will take care of that.

I am not too keen on the DAC in the Glow either, but I found this (Dell Inspiron 8600 w/XP to Dac - firewire or USB, converter ?'s) and I do use a Dell, so maybe that was my problem. I do love the amp itself (w/ an Apogee mini-DAC) and have sent it to Wayne at Bolder Cables to do so mods to it...
