AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player
I've been using an AP-80 for over a year as my workout player - 3X for 1 1/2 hours every week - No issues except the case has developed a tear where the strap goes and I will have to replace it in a couple of months...No loosening of the wheel...the only other issue was I could not pair the AT...- Steven Stone1

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Unlike many players I've used, this Sony is very particular about cards. None of my pre-loaded cards would work (all of which worked on multiple other players). My solution was to format fat 32 and let the Sony, when tethered, populate the card. a PITA, but that' what worked...- Steven Stone1

Inspire IHA-1 tube headphone amp
I currently use the IHA-1 exclusively with full-sized headphones, not in-ears, so going back to my original quote - I mean headphones, not in-ears. Many headphones within the $999 to $1999 work well with the IHA-1. Currently the MR. Speaker Flows spend the most time regularly attached...- Steven Stone1

Inspire IHA-1 tube headphone amp
Yes. I liked it as a preamp - it was quiet and had plenty of gain for line-level sources. The primary limitation is that it only has one single-ended RCA output, so for a system with mains and a sub you may need to use splitters.- Steven Stone1

The Official Sony MDR-Z1R Flagship Headphone Thread (Live From IFA 2016)
First question - There is very little down-pressure on the top pad with this stand. If you use the headphones as often as I do (and most owners will) it won't spend an extended time in any one position due to usage. Also, I'm using a Kimber Kable which has longer barrels than the Sony stock...- Steven Stone1

Actually those of us who have had files they recorded converted to MQA and compared them to the original files via matched-level A/B have...but I don't want to upset your arguments :)- Steven Stone1

The TAS review, which I wrote, was referrring to higher than 100 dB sensitivity. I was using a 115 dB sens in-ear. 15 dB is a big difference...- Steven Stone1
