Hi - No apology necessary. Yes. But they are incorrect in the long run. It will 'physically' fit, it is 'suitable' - but is not accurate to the original OEM part and would consequently slightly change the sound.

Thanks for the attempt ... but ... No. That piece is for the K240 Studio. The old K240 Monitor and K240 Diffuse Field piece were only 1 piece of thin cloth. Not foam.

OEM Cushions for the K702 are $16.08 each - $32.16 for the pair from AKG. They're back ordered now but will ship in December.
