I like my Pioneer xdl-30R a lot, but now I'm looking for even better SQ. New one must accommodate tidal and MQA. Also balanced output like the Pioneer. Maybe up to $600 to $700. Thanks for your ideas. My phones are Mr. Speakers AEON FLOW Closed, so that makes selection harder.

The Aeon Flows definitely do NOT play well with the SD2. I have a pair. There's distortion from the impedance mismatch.

Just a heads up: The Flows are not compatible with the Pro-ject Pre Box SD2. There is distortion that sounds like overdriving that is not present with my HD650's. Impedance mismatch. Adjusting volume levels does not solve the problem.
