Haven't gave it any thought to use the HDMI IS2. I just dont want to miss out on the clean jitter free usb module they build in. I also don't have a good HDMI is2 cable on hand right now.

Same here! works like a charm. Only thing i find anoying is that the transport view doesn't show all your Qobuz music if you have more that 500 tracks. What i usually do to fix this is just scroll down 4 times and it will show all the artists i listen to in the transport view

Does Qobuz count as oversample? Im using the ASIO Driver on Qobuz which switches to the rigth sample rate. I thought that the cyan was only capable of DSD OS.

This is ess so its not R2R however have you seen the Aune S17 Pro? Its at the almost the same pricepoint. Ive listen to R2R Serenade before and i just love the big sound it gives. Maybe the S17 would be a better alternative.

Thanks for the reply! Only form of amp/dac i have is a Dragonfly Cobalt and a Stax energiser. I think getting the serenade would be a good upgrade.
