probably all the ones produced now do.  The ones i got right before christmas has the new plug, but it also came from china instead of the american location, and i assume the american location has the older stock so some of theirs might have the adapter.

OK originally i thought that my hm601 didn't come with a carrying case, i was wrong.  It was stuck to the underside of the cardboard box inside, so when i lifted it, the case wasn't seen, my bad. So if anything thinks they're missing it, try looking under the cardboard box.

Thanks for the replies guys.  After a few hours of reading I went with the hifiman combo as both the dap and iems are rated quite well and it saves me from making 2 separate purchases. I am in canada though, so i dont know if they'll be sending it from their american store, or the asian one.
