Absolutely!!!! Love mine, only thing mine didn't come with the double flange tips which I really wanted to give a try. The details make you feel so involved in the music. The low end is very smooth but hit with authority. Hope to see more Carbon discussion and what everyone is playing on them...- spooled180

Jose, I'm with you on suggestions to manufacturers. I would like bands also to keep everything tight and secure. I too am considering the nickel, but also can't ignore the Cayin c5 although old has a great proven track record..- spooled180

Dan has said plenty of times at shows and here I believe, that the nickel is plenty light and small its design connection is strong enough to just dangle. Mostly from a smartphone and had no intention of using bands. Is there something missing that you feel you plan on adding the nickel. I am...- spooled180

The Cayin N3 should have no problem pushing the Be. It's plenty for my Carbon with it on lo gain.- spooled180

Well I just put an order for the Carbons in last night lol. I will see how it turns out, although I might pick the nickel up in the future anyhow. Especially for phone use.- spooled180

I'm glad to hear this also, as I am using an N3. Difference is I'll be running the Carbon which by specs the N3 looks to be a bit underpowered. Is it a big enough difference that I will need to amp the Carbons though?- spooled180

Thanks for the response. How did you feel about the stock tips? I was planning on looking into spin fits or even using a set of comply as I have used and liked them in the past. Assuming the stock tips don't work out.- spooled180

Just put in a order for the Carbon. Can't wait, being paired with my Cayin N3. Is there a burn in time frame I should be expecting?- spooled180

Are The Sony MDR XB950B1 Any Good?
I have tested the 950n1 which is nc added. I returned them the next day. Clarity was there the bass was not what I expected even with boost on. Just had a muffled sound and to me it just needed too much EQ'ing. The pads are huge but very comfortable as well as the clamping force. To be honest...- spooled180
