Rank the IEM's you've heard
Totally agree with you, just for the comfort, w80 is already on S- list. And Shure846, 64audio u12t are also my to go list for long hour listen. For comfort perspective, Sony and campfire is the worst :( I usually listen it with Hugo2, and the dac/amp does pair very well with w80. But not fiio...- sphinxx

MHO, Andro has more treb presence than w80, just a bit but noticeable. If you’re a fancy-treb listener, you will appreciate this. Otherwise, the W80 has better bass and mid, especially the vocal is also better (both quality and presentation). As an editor, I listen to music almost 6-7hrs...- sphinxx

Rank the IEM's you've heard
1.Layla Aion (awesome soundstage, detail) 2.Sony M9 3.Fender Thirteen 6 (surprising good at bass, and superb detail in low mid and sub bass. Dark sound signature, might be picky for sb) 4.W80 5.Andro- sphinxx

Three Brand New Earphones: Sony IER-Z1R, IER-M9 and IER-M7
If you decide to upgrade, I’d recommend 1R over M9. Its sound signature will be close what you like more. Unless you want something really balance out.- sphinxx

Grado Hemp Headphone Loaner Program @TTVJAudio.com
This is my thought of Grado Hemp. To start, my gear list: -A&K SR25 -iPod classic -Chord Hugo 2 -Senn HD 6xx -ATH AD1000x -The box: The open-box experience is not much to say, the package is minimalistic, which is padded nicely with soft material. Only one complaint is Grado should make a...- sphinxx

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)
Just send them a message. They exchanged my black cable from A&K to the clear one from Aion Roxane. Me too. I have some hi-end 2pin cables, and desperately want to pair with Aion. On the other size, 7pin is a tank. Hope JH explain more detail why did they go with 7pin beside of durability.- sphinxx

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)
Can confirm the AION now has more comfortable treb, but the downsize is it will sound a little bit warmer/darker than OG Layla. But I could say it depends on taste. About the 7pin, JH is now sale its new 7-pin cable in Accesories for $150. You can order 1 then send it off to re-cable. Mine goes...- sphinxx
