I have a question on daily warm-up of these DAPs. Search noob, i did not see this discussed, so asking - Do you all notice that after a cold start after overnight shutdown, the player doesn’t sound so good? In around 30mins or so, the bass opens up. (Zm2) Is it in my head or is warm-up a thing?

Briefly had the xperia 1V before I returned it. I was chasing the codec for perfection with that purchase. My PX8 connected via adaptive to the Xperia. TBH I didn’t notice a difference. TBH I wasn’t AB testing either. IMO if you have an iPhone/AAC or an android with aptx-HD, you are good.

Per the internet, yes. General consensus is that AAC is not implemented well in android phones.
