Solved it! Turns out it was just the female end having issues connecting properly. I used a short adapter and everything sounds amazing now :)  They sound great on my android too! Thanks everyone!

There isn't a jack in the back, it's a laptop. That may be the issue, I'll try later today with an extension and see if it works.
