NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
I heard the atlas today as my local store finally brought it in. All I can is that I've never heard such bass before. It hits deep and hard and yet everything else is still crystal clear. And the soundstage. Wow it's so wide. My previous High end iem was the u8 and I'll say this definitely beats...- sparkerr

More lush and natural midrange, as well as better separation sounds right up my alley! So would you say it sounds more exciting? Have jumped in for a pair, hopefully it reaches the minimum of purchases so the drop will be successful Sweet, thanks for the input. Between the K10 and the ME...- sparkerr

Thank you for your input. Though I have not heard the U12 so I would not know how different is it from the U8. Glad to know its not bright and its warm sounding. Im definitely considering this. However, someone replied on the massdrop thread that these sound muddy? It doesn't seem to be so based...- sparkerr

CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread
Im contemplating getting the ME on massdrop, but there's not much reviews on it and I can't demo it either. Hearing as its bass heavy, how does it compare to the 1964 U8 if anyone has both? Also does the bass bleed into the mids? Are the mids lush and full? Is the treble bright? I don't really...- sparkerr

EarSonics Velvet universal custom in ear monitor with three sound tuning options
For that price, I would expect it to sound much better than a $200 iem as well Truth is, I have a FX850 already so if the velvet's potential is limited to a high end DAP, I may have to sell it when it arrives. Which is pretty sad, was looking forward to unboxing them.- sparkerr

EarSonics Velvet universal custom in ear monitor with three sound tuning options
Ah yes, I've heard that upper range iems/headphones can sound terrible if its not from a high end DAP/source due to sensitivity issues or along those lines. So you would say the velvets still sounds good with an ipod? Not just sufficient volume, but it sounds good?- sparkerr

EarSonics Velvet universal custom in ear monitor with three sound tuning options
Will an ipod touch 5 be sufficient to drive these? I am hearing mixed inputs about this from various sources Hope it is though because I snagged one of these beauties on Black Friday without thinking much- sparkerr

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
Thanks! I'll check those tips out. What tape mod are you referring to? You mean literally taping the rear vent? Thanks for the suggestion but I tried all 3 given spiral dots sizes, the M fits okay but gave me sharp highs and the isolation is not as good as the spinfits.- sparkerr

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
I just got these 2 weeks ago and the sound is phenomenal. I never want to pull them out of my ears! When I first listened to them, I thought the treble were a little too harsh for me and was initially disappointed, but after changing to spinfit tips and about 60hrs of burn in, the sound became...- sparkerr
