Songs that make your headphone WOOOOOW!!!
I think this is a testament to how advanced and ahead of its time this recording is. It still sounds fresh and contemporary considering it was cut in the 1960's. -
Best headphones for rock and electronic?
There's nothing to get. It has to be 'experienced' to be appreciated. The Grado's make everything sound good. ESPECIALLY the guitars. But let's poll the consensus... http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B0055P9K38/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1- SonicBoy

Best headphones for rock and electronic?
I'll be predictable and recommend the Grado SR 80i. The sound is aggressive, in-your-face and the mid range 'flatters' the sound of guitars.- SonicBoy

Opinions needed for first-time buyer!
Ear pads, and if you handle your gear in a rough manner, new cables are all part of the running cost of owning a pair of headphones. Fortunately parts for Sennheiser headphones can be easily obtained from EBay, Amazon, a Sennheiser retailer or even Sennheiser themselves very easily. A...- SonicBoy

Radiopaq QX1 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
I can't find an online review. Has anyone tried these? http://www.radiopaq.com/headphones/QX1 I noticed that Radiopaq sell them direct for £150, however they can be bought via Ebay for under £50. ...- SonicBoy

AKG k702's and "lack of bass".
Quote: I'll co-sign this. The bass reproduction is only as good as the production. The 702's won't give you the 'night club' or hip-hop experience because it's not really designed to do that. If you want an example of 'good' production and a well engineered recording to test the...- SonicBoy

I have a budget of $500...
I use K702 with the E11 set on LOW gain, and it drives it well It also has the ‘secret weapon’ of two levels of Bass boost, which some people may feel corrects the K702 weakness. Personally I prefer the sound ‘flat’- SonicBoy

Closed Grado
If / when Grado decides to make closed headphones I think they would sound a lot like a warmer version of the Sennheiser HD25’s. The HD25’s have a similar forward, in-your-face sound presentation which should be familiar to any Grado user. It should be fairly easy to get your hands on a...- SonicBoy

Which grados hook of with a ipod?
Quote: Well you may have gotten away with it FOR NOW, but time, probability and wear-and-tear is against you LOL! . Let me begin my answer by stating that I was a poor, inattentive, school boy and I spent most of my time looking out the window during applied math class. However...- SonicBoy
