Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread

Thanks! :) Cable is not stiff - it's made up soft rubber material. Fit is ok as long as I insert it properly into the ear canal [with Comply type ear tips].

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread

Reviving the 'antique' TF10s . KZ AZ09 Pros to the rescue - now I can use these more frequently. Surprisingly the DQC - Type C pins fit perfectly on the IEMs. '

let's launch a kick starter to solve the tips issue fit once and for all

as i see there are some suggestions on alternate earplugs: here is my solution.   excuse the dirty plug tip, but i've been using these memory foam plugs. i've simply cut the length and made a hole in the middle so that they can fit on the stem of IEM. they perform just like the Comply tips but...

Best USB DAC for Android around the £100 mark?

a lot depends which DAC-AMP are you comparing this combo with. my suggestion was keeping in mind your budget constraints. rest you would have to decide based on auditions. i am not sure of what other DAC-AMP you can get in your budget.    personally my aim is to bypass my phone's DAC and see...

Best USB DAC for Android around the £100 mark?

you can readup on the DAC. there are several reviews out there [even on headfi].  the DAC itself has a very minimal footprint.. may not be bigger than an OTG cable plus you can pair it with an amp like Topping NX1 Portable Earphone Amplifier Black if required. i have not personally auditioned...

    Klipsch Image S4?

i keep reading that S4s are good but not worth the price. i use S4 and my triplefi 10s are on the way. but my friend likes the S4's sound very much. are there any other IEMs that match the sound of S4s (especially the bass) but are much cheaper. from my initial reading i found that Soundmagic...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

thanks goodvibes and rawster for the frank opinion :)   i think a lot of it depends on the 'fit' too as with most IEMs it is. hopefully i get lucky.    i am now going through TF10 appreciation thread. i had saved it for last  . i think it is only going to make me buy these.    the...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Quote:   thanks for the reply mvw2! mmm.. i knew this is gonna be difficult -explaining about the music preferences. i do not mind good treble but it is the harsh/piercing highs that 'm terrified of. as for Image S4 they have been ok so far and but nothing special or lively in it...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

hi friends,   i am looking for a good set of IEM and zeroed in on DBA 02 (analytical, comparatively cold) and Triple fi 10 (comparatively warm) . i know both have different sound signature. i have been reading through many of the reviews too. i normally listen to techno and i currently...

    Urgent Noob advice

same budget similar dilemma few months ago. i chose S4s. i have been using Image S4 since then. somehow i find them very bright to my liking. so much that 'm almost thinking of buying a different pair of IEMs. only this time i would not go by reviews but 'll audition a nicely run-in pair.  ...
