Perth! 2005 Mid-Year Meet?
People are pretty much welcome to listen to any headphones or amps I have in stock as well (excluded headphones are canalphones, buds, models in packaging you have to destroy to open or models that are just a real pain to repackage). I have a few amps out on the road at the moment though so...- Snufkin

Speaker/Source noob, please help.
I would highly recommend DIY for speakers Before you run away screaming, have a look at www.theloudspeakerkit.com - it's in Leederville, you can go in and have a listen, you'll actually walk past me to get to the speakers as well In terms of performance - you'd be looking at kits that are...- Snufkin

Which Grados are each of the Alessandro headphones based off of?
According to Alessandro the MS-1 is closest to the SR125 - if you look at the specs of each (while specs mean little) they are identical other than sensitivity. I've tested and SR125 and an MS1 side by side and the differences between them are very subtle while the SR80 sounds very different...- Snufkin

Cost of Headphones in Australia (& outside of U.S.)
Just let it be known that any prices that seem spectacularly unreasonable here in Australia aren't that way because of the retail stores (unless you're paying rrp), it's because of the wholesalers being greedy. The first time I ever contacted the Oz distro for Grado products they wanted me to...- Snufkin

Are the DT880s for Me?
I don't like the K271S at all, I've heard several different pairs now as I thought the first 2 were faulty - I haven't found them worthy of any of the praise that I've read - quite the opposite in fact.- Snufkin

K1k is in fact in stock at this time (ordered in for a customer who is happy for me to demo them as long as people take care), as is the L3k. We'll only be able to use the K1k with the OTL32/stock tubes though. Fridays are best for me, mid-late afternoon is good for me (say 3pm onwards) as we...- Snufkin
