surround sound files vs stereo files
You'll never beat stereo for headphones, surround simply isn't meant for headphones. Even those headphones designed to emulate surround sound simply do just that; emulate. Keep your surround copies for surround systems and a stereo copy for your headphones! -
Favorite Music to write/study/work to
I can't listen to anything with lyrics when trying to do something that requires a decent amount of brain power. Generally I like to put on The Field's From Here We Go Sublime or Yesterday and Today so I don't get too distracted. -

Are the MS1 still the beast headphone (unamped) under the 100$?
I love my MS-1i's, and I was running them straight out of my soundcard for a long time. For 100$ you honestly can't go wrong, especially with the HD414 pads. I found them a nice addition, definately worth the extra cost.- snakeater

I played straight through Heavy Rain and I was blown away by the entire thing. Barring some occassionally awful voice acting and the clunky movement, it was a very stunning, if extremely guided, experience. One thing that bothered me is how awful the kissing was though, seriously. Worth the...- snakeater

Jet Set Radio Future
The original was far better than Future in my opinion. Seems unlikely to get picked up for third game any time soon, but I can imagine the original coming to XBLA, particularly since SAdventure seems to be coming. Still looks great on my Dreamcast through VGA though!- snakeater

Radiohead: Vinyl vs CD Comparisons ??
I have OK Computer, Amnesiac and In Rainbows on vinyl, and I wouldn't have it any other way. They're easily some of the best sounding albums I have. -
Pink Floyd The Wall Remasters
The Japan Harvest Blackface is one of the greatest, but like anything, there's a lot of contention. -
REVIEW: Low-end Grado comparison (SR-60i, 80, MS-1)
I chose the MS-1i's over the 60's simply because in the UK Grados retail for a fortune, making the Alessandro's cheaper and not only that but (apparently, according to what I had read) superior as well. The review was very interesting, especially as I haven't had a chance to try out either the...- snakeater

Any anime series that you've been enjoying?
I disagree, but this can (and has been) argued to death. The first time I watched Eva, I fell in love with it. I find all the characters fascinating, each so wonderfully broken in their way. Sitting here with Rei/Asuka revoltech's on my desk and a bunch of overpriced dvds, I can't imagine why...- snakeater

I only just picked up a PS3 recently, so I've been playing catch up, and recently got Siren: Blood Curse. I haven't actually finished it, but I'm past half way through and not entirely sure how I feel about it. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact I'm playing it as a full game, not as the...- snakeater
