    Crossfeed solution with iPod Touch?

I suppose you might be right, but this rig is something that I use at work so I guess I can't have it *too* fancy Although on a related note, my HD650s with a LD Mk V at home doesn't seem to have this sort of effect on me even when I use an iPod with it, so that might not be the cause. I...

    Crossfeed solution with iPod Touch?

Hi all, I tend to listen to my iPod that's connected to a DarkVoice 336 amp that's then connected to my K701s. It works great, although there is something with the music that just puts on this sense of pressure and fatigue, so I could never sit down for an extended listening session...

    Darkvoice 336 + 336i Tuberolling [ tubes ]

    Darkvoice 336i, 332 for HD580?

Callous I own the 336SE and I find it pretty nice, although the wide selection of tubes available is something to really watch out for

Does anyone know how the MkV compares with the CIAudio?

    Dangers of tubes?

Ahh... anyway what will be the worst thing that can happen when a tube starts glowing and no one is around to switch it off? Will it burst and send broken glass all over the place?

A vacuum tube can start a fire as well?

    Dangers of tubes?

I'm asking this due to a few other posts I've read on this forums where the posters experiences cases where the tubes start glowing near the end of its life. Does that happen regularly? How do you know if your tube is dying with a tube tester? Is it a good idea to routinely throw your tubes...

Some tube questions... Rectifier tubes? Power tubes?

Hi all, I am rather new to this whole vacuum tube thing and am just curious what is the difference between the two tubes used in a Darkvoice 336SE. Which one of them is the rectifier tube? And which is the power tube? What is the rectifier tube used for? And similarly what does the power...

    "Involving" headphone recommendations?

Thanks for the very many recommendations I have actually owned a SR-80 before, together with a HD-280, and while the SR-80 does sound better I find it rather... fatiguing (if you get what I mean?) On the other hand the Senns just seem to fit more. The best "feel" I get from a headphone...

    "Involving" headphone recommendations?

I have recently gotten a K701 and together with a Darkvoice 336 I just felt that the music seems to be, for lack of a better word, unromantic. The K701 is always said to be an analytical pair of cans, so if this sits on one end of the extreme, what phones would be good "on the other end"...
