Vintage beyer ID help
Aah thanks a lot for the ID! Do you think replacing the plug would help with sound quality? Also I believe there is supposed to be foam in front of the driver, am I correct? Could I use the foam from a DT100?- skoolage

Vintage beyer ID help
Can anyone tell me anything about these phones? I found them and they look interesting but I would like to know some info about them. I haven't been able to listen to them yet because I don't have an adapter. I'm pretty sure they're either a DT100 or DT150 but I'm not sure which. They aren't...- skoolage

Magix levitation feet - why doesn't everyone use them?
I tried the Magix and I didn't get much improvement. I could still feel the vibrations from the steel mill across town from the power source. Also the magnets themselves seemed to vibrate due to the strong magnetic currents from the increased sun activity this time of year. I cant even imagine... -
Small amp for volume increase only
I would go with the E5. It seems to be all that you really need. Anyway, the other people that are recommending more expensive amps are right that they will sound a bit better, but really, if theyre not in your budget, just go with the E5.- skoolage

Shock discovery! Sansa clip earphones sound like Hd650!
I own two versions of the sansa buds, one of the long stem versions and one of the shorter more rounded ones. Ive listened to both and neither impress me in the slightest. They sound like typical stock earbuds.- skoolage

HA-RX700 vs. HA-RX900
Hey. Its time to upgrade from SR60s and Ive pretty much narrowed it down to these two headphones. I mostly listen to hard rock/metal. It seems that the 700s might be better for metal, but Im not sure. Comfort is pretty important, and it seems like the 900s are more comfortable. If the 900s are...- skoolage

DEAL OVER: Brand new AKG K-601 for $89 at HeadRoom
I ordered one...couldn't resist. I've been wanting to pick up some nice phones to replace my SR60's and didnt want to spend more than 100 bucks. These seem to fit the bill perfectly. Anyway, right now, my rig consists of a Cowon D2 and a fiio e3? Any idea how this will work with the 601? I...- skoolage
