on the mlp plugin's config i can set it between 24 bit-16 bit, wouldn't converting to wav affect the bit? Sorry I'm not familiar with this hehe

I found a workaroundthanks for the input though. i just rip the raw mlp/raw pcm and play the files via winamp with the mlp plugin; sounds good, moreso than the decoded rip to wav. is there still degradation through this method?

Yeah I have an x-fi xtrememusic, and downloaded creative's dvd-a player, yet it wont play dvd-as with digital out.....so how could I get a taste of this 96khz/24-bit ooze with digital out :/ ..I dont want to plug my headphones directly into the soundcard's ports

hm..im just installed the sse2 version of asio and things seem to work no pops or clicks. Music is still delicate when operating on other applications, but it seems like the sound stage is more distant with asio and clearer, sharper. Really strange, I guess certain music works better with KS and...
