when pink noise is done rigbt, you cant hear it as snow anymore.. it is more like a pressure only.     why not try using a tone generator and put the tone on each eq slider frequency, then move 'em up and down until they are all the same loudness ..?

the first & biggest important point of impact is the audio scoring traveling a much larger distance. the increase in distance is enough to make any audiophile want one, if only for the difference & choice.   you really don't give yourself opportunity to be impressed when the speakers...

i would expect the speaker's surround to loosen up. how much is uncertain. whether the looser surround helps or hurts the surround is also uncertain. i don't think it is a good idea for headphones to start sounding worse just months after owning them.. then again after a year.. and...

the hangar picture is my favorite of the bunch.

i've messed around with some 3D renderings before.   i can imagine sitting there trying to get the perfect shade of color, and then the printer spits out something different. as an artist the right shade of color is vital to acceptability.   can you send me a link to some of your work...
