I have PK1's with same problem, need advice also. First one I sent for replacement since they had guarantee but these don't have anymore. Pretty ridicilous to pay this amount of money for puds that don't last more than 6 months if you ask me.

Damn you guys. I haven't even received my (recabled) AKG701's yet and I'm thinking of selling them to get these. I guess there ain't any European retailer for these? Damn those VAT's and taxes, raises the price by over 25%.
