    That is true. I just did to my amp4s after swapping caps and MLCC cap and only applied the damping sheets onto the 2 big caps. The SQ is more cleared in top and bottom with refined bass that I have never heard with stock and modded amp4s.

    You suggest using silver cable 4.4 to dual XLR (bi-amping) from the source to the amp.

    I really don’t like the AK DAPs except the AK100II which is paired up with Mojo.

    Nice short review and comparison between B8 and LPGT. IMO if I get extra cash I would go with LPGT which looks elegantly but for now I am enjoying the DX200TI and mod amp8 connected via Ares II 8wire and Eros II 8wire. Will get the Phantoms in the future. :smile_phones:

    I could not find the ibasso CB14 in their website so I will decide to order a custom made from Triton Audio Cable in Seattle and I think David uses the same materials as Trevor of Norn Audio.

    I might use an adapter 4.4 female for SR1 to male XLR 4 pins to a balanced amp.

    The head strap is very comfortable with no pressure on head even laying down in bed with the new perforated pads.
