Both are quite good and informative. The ultimate results remain both subjective to an objectively designed source.

It seems we both have the FH3 and still having the fh5 myself, fiio needed to do something with the FH5. :)

Because of the wide but short nozzles I use large ear tips and this alone made a big difference.

I have '16 iphone SE and with a fiio btr5 or my fiio q5 all my iems sound vert good. BT and portable amps. :)

I had an older Shure 530 and most any iem newer by a year or or two is better; the newer microelectronics are much better. By fh5 is way better than thre shure 530 which cost almost twice the price at its time.

I have the fh5, fh3, and fa7 and the difference is not correlated with the difference in cost or price. I use all three and find that my ears and mind easily adjust within moments to the subtle difference. If price is a barrier the fh3 is a first choice.

For my use I found that a larger ear tip was more helpful than a longer deeper double-flange tip. I found the short and wide nozzle to be problematic.

fh5 wide and short nozzle was a problem for some and including myself. but I did find a solution. Fiio seemed to understand the the problem and have since corrected it on newer iem products.

Fiio app is useless on ios.

Finding a good iem is like a finding a good life partner, and what others may have experienced will not be a final verdict. :)

They are good and I have and still use a set, but because of a short and wide nozzle they are among the hardest fiio iem to fit ear tips.
