i'm thinking of using the px200 during commutes as the px100's isolation really isn't ideal for commutes. especially for long bus/train rides, where the person beside me usually gives me an odd look whenever i try to up the volume to make up for the lack of isolation.

hi guys, just a quick question, is the px200 largely different in terms of sq from px100? Just asking since it's on sale on an online shop here so can't really audition it.

i see, but did you notice any discoloration after a while? about to get a new pair tomorrow however the white ones are around $10 cheaper than the black ones but I'm a bit OC lol.

I use mine everyday, to and from the office, during commutes, outdoor etc so the plug didn't stand the wear and tear (my fault really). I just had it reterminated with a rean plug. 

still amazed at the durability of this headphone. mine's almost 4 years and counting ,still working though I already had the plug reterminated, the foams and headband pads replaced (it's already falling out again) and it's still working. might get another pair next week, a store here's...

I already did since they're flaking out. I just took another pair of the foam pads for the earpiece, cut them to size and then stuffed them at the back. good as new :)

not very much familiar with closed backs as I've been eyeing the portapro, grado sr60 and the senn px100 for a few days now... some buddy of mine said to try out the senn hd202 and the creative cal.. other than those 2, i don't have any idea.

lol....can you recommend any other closed back hps?
