Millet Hybrid Construction Thread
I've finished my Millett and i get fine sound from both channels....however i can only turn the bias down on the left channel to around 17.5 until the the trimpot starts clicking and won't go anymore....the right channel can be adjusted from around 6 on up. Again it sounds fine but is there some...- shut85

So i found out what was causing my problem, turns out the power supply i was using had this replaceble plug mechanism and the plug was put in the wrong way. Now the amp turns on with the led and i can adjust the bias, however there is no sound coming out and on the left side the bias can be...- shut85

Ok so i went back to my amp and realized my d1 was put in the wrong way. I replaced d1 and pf1 and put in d1 the correct way, however i am still having the same problem as before (the pf1 gettin really hot and the led not coming on). What damage could have been done by mounting d1 the wrong way...- shut85

what does it mean when my pf1 is extremely hot when i turn on the amp....also, the led doesnt turn on....is it simply i have some cold welds somewhere or something else, like would that problem be able to tell me exactly what is going wrong with the amp- shut85

Alternate source for Millet-Hybrid PCB
i've gotten all the parts on the board except for the components like the power and inputs and outputs, i assume that s1 and s2 are for the switch but i only see a v_in pad and was wasnt sure how to connect the power exactly. wouldnt there be a v+ and a v- from the power to connect to the board...- shut85

no real sound change
i finished my cmoy amp and my problem is that the sound comes through even when i dont have the power connected to the amp. is that supposed to happen? also when i do connect the power and turn on the amp, the sounds seems to not be changed. i dont kno what to do.- shut85

problem with cmoy amp
when i give power to my cmoy i get this constant sound that sounds like a loud helicopter. i dont even have to pass the music through it to get the sound but when i do connect the music it makes the same sound. im thinkin i might have a problem with my ground. if so how do i fix it.- shut85
