I'm totally loving the D100 right now with the K701.  It's almost perfect.  The only thing I could wish for would be a tad extra bass maybe, but then again part of that is down to the open back design, so I can't complain much.   All this talk about amps has got me hungry for upgrading...

Just a thought about input rates.  Manual suggests to use 96khz in the OS.  If I'm understanding this correctly, the source would be 44.1KHz, which would be resampled to 96KHz, before it's sent to the DAC which resamples it again.   Wouldn't it be better to just select 44.1KHz in the OS so...
