I've done it in a couple of windows mobile devices and it works with no issue. The phone creates some folders in it, and when I put it back to the X1, it shows the folders but they are empty, only shows music files. In the category section however, there is not difference.

I guess you've just got bad luck with your unit, sorry to hear that since I'm enjoying my X1 a lot, specially after years using an iPod Classic. I would then recommend to use an amplifier connected to the digital output of your iPod, that improves the sound quality a lot.

Hi   There have been a couple of times that I left my X1, and when i return several minutes later, it's tuned on... I'm not exactly sure when it happens, but maybe it could be a similar problem with the idle poweroff feature. I will pay attention and keep you informed.   Thanks

Hi   I always use the amp on low power and low gain, the X1 do not have the option to adjust the gain, so I use the line out option and use the amp to adjust the volume.   I'll give it a try to your recommendation of turning the volume up and down, I hope it helps.   Thanks!

Do you have the latest firmware version? V. 1.5 allows you to scroll from a playing song to the song list, then albums by artist, artists and finally the main menu. I hope this helps.
