Might have to just take rantng's suggestion. I'm personally paranoid of my nozzle breaking so I'm very careful, but I didn't think it would actually happen! Some proper glue should work though.

For comfort as well as frequency response, and darker tuning, I don't think you'd be disappointed. I'm wearing mine as I write this, listening to Godslave's Unseen Storm. Treble, mids, mid-bass, sub-bass. It's all there, and beautifully rendered. I bought mine for almost double that price and...

If those other IEMs can go down comfortably to 5hz, then I say you're in good standing.

You might try going to settings > Sound & notification > Lock range adjust and setting it to "normal" or, if it's already on normal, change it to "wide," then try activating your bass boost again and see if you have that trouble again.

I made a comment above this one, but to reiterate: On the main music app on the play screen (where you se your art/play button/et cetera) swipe down and you'll see the tracklist with numbers annexed to the left.

Someone gave a sort of non-answer, suggesting that you go into the folder on Windows and just select all and look at the number in the status bar. That technically works, sure, and the solution I'm going to give isn't ideal either, but at least you can check it directly from the device itself...

How do you feel about the W80's mid-bass exaggeration? It must be somewhere between 100 and 250hz. Regardless of what device I connect my W80 IEMs to, I always go right to the equalizer and start fiddling with that area. I generally have to lower it around 5dB, sometimes even more, to get rid of...

As someone who is still loving his W80 IEMs, I say you cannot go wrong with them.

If you want "just the facts, Ma'am," then the truth is that ANY IEM that has an equivalent frequency response will be as good as these as far as sheer fidelity. Check the frequency response. These are 5hz to 20,000hz (or was it 22,000hz?) That's because everything, even the craziest low notes...

Honestly, I can't imagine what this means, and that's not me being sarcastic. If the response is flat, and the drivers are good, then whether it's lifeless should be a product of the music itself, not the IEM. Are you saying that there's an extreme trough in one of the upper-bass/lower-mid...

Actually, if I were going to swap out, I'd go for the Mach80 based on what you just said. I want flat-as-possible frequency response with the full capability of playing anything that needs to be played. While the W80 is tuned a bit too warmly for me, I can still appreciate it since it does...

If you've heard them both, what would you say the Mach80's tuning is like by comparison? From what I understand, they were TRYING to make a neutral-sounding IEM to match their custom model, but @twister6 says that it's different from both the custom IEM and the W80.

You're still rockin' the W80 in 2023 as well? How do you feel about their very thick low-end? I'm really noticing after turning off my EQ, rolling tips and adjusting depth, that they have a ridiculously thick sub- and mid-bass, between 30hz and 200hz. It's ridiculous. It doesn't sound distorted...

Sorry for the double post here, but A) I'm going to do it anyway and B) I just have to rave. I'm still using my W80s multiple years later, and barring some paint flaking on the J-clips (which I'm going to replace for metal ones at some point) they are still in prime condition and still sound as...

It's stuff like this that makes me think that people are either getting a poor fit, inserting too deeply (or not deeply enough) have a problem with their source or some other issue. If there's one thing the W80 IEMs are good at, it's thumping attack. I've listened to a dozen different IEMs, and...
