HiBy RS2: dual card slots, Darwin R2R, FIR, NOS, MQA 8x--news and impressions thread

Here's what I did on mine (please note that I created my m3u files using the Hiby Music app on my android phone, but I reckon it should work the same for foobar2000) I followed the steps on ttt123's post, and then edited the m3u files using a text editor, following the format specified there...

I'm guessing (and hoping at the same time) it could be similar to how it is done in my X1, that is by copying the m3u files to the root directory of the microSD. 🤷

Just in case anyone else is having this same question, I emailed hiby and they confirmed that the RS2 does support m3u playlist 😁

Thanks a lot guys, Just one last question, can the RS2 read m3u8 playlist files? If yes then it will make life easier for me, if not then it's not a really big deal. Seems like I'll be pulling the trigger on the RS2, just wish it has extra long battery life like the R5 Gen 2 😁

That sounds great! Thanks a lot for the reply.. I haven't listen to the variations yet, but from comparing the graphs between blessing2 and variations on crinacle's site, it seems that variations has more emphasis on lower frequencies. I read somewhere in this thread that the RS2 is warm...

HiBy RS2: dual card slots, Darwin R2R, FIR, NOS, MQA 8x--news and impressions thread

Hey guys, I've been away from the hobby for a good few years, having Fiio X1 as my latest and current source lol. I recently got my hands on a pair of Moondrop Blessing 2 and really liking them. I'm thinking of upgrading my X1 as the battery has drop significantly, and my possible choices come...

Quote: I just got my reply a few hours ago, and they said some of the fit kit actually contains (in pairs) 3 comply foams, 5 star tips, and 1 triple flange. They can sell you the star tips for 14.99 plus shipping.

Quote:   Quote:   Thanks for the replies guys, I am 80% decided to get the RE272. However, as these no longer have the 3 years warranty, I would like to know more on the durability of these pairs.  Perhaps they lifted the 3 years warranty because there's too much claims from...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hi all, I'm currently looking for earphones that are neutral to bright. So far, I've been using sennheiser ie8 and jvc fx500 for my listening sessions, and I suddenly wanted to listen to another one with a different characteristics. (despite having decent highs, fx500 is still bass heavy) Upon...
