Anyone who's discarding their original T50RP cups... any chance I could get them? I want to do some experimental mods on the original housing and it'd be cool if I didn't have to worry about making any permanent detrimental changes.- Seggybop

k so as per everyone's suggestions I've now acquired the T50RP rather than a lower model. Before I actually got them, I thought the housing looked pretty lame-- visually unappealing, and a seemingly weak cup attachment method. Now that I have the actual headphones I have to reverse that...- Seggybop

hey guys, was it ever determined if all of the current-production fostex use the same driver? I know they have slightly different specs, but the variation could be the result of the different housings. I also recall seeing the same part listed as the replacement driver for all models. ...- Seggybop

What kind of headphone transducer is this?
I don't know what it's called, but it appears to be the type that was common on headphones from the early part of the 20th century, as seen at http://oldheadphones.com/crystal/gallery/gallery.html. Maybe some more info there?- Seggybop
