thinking about changing my Nutopia to the LCD5 Anyone compare the two and like the LCD5 better ? I’m after an only one TOTL all rounder. Rock/pop / heavy rock and singer / songwriter simple acoustic is my music style. I fear the Nutopia is very , very good. But the LCD5 is better still.

I agree with you on that. The dCS Lina was also a disappointment for me. My dealer raves about it and it left me feeling luke warm at best. Considering the insane pricing of the stack, I was very let down. But that could also well have been the Susvara they had as the HP pairing.

Agree, it’s just an OK all in one unit, and that’s all it is. It’s nothing special or great for the $$$$ and it’s very expensive for what it is. In my opinion and for my taste my Innuos Zen Mini/LPS/Mojo2/GSX-mini are far superior for about $2,000 more. As NAIM is a very expensive brand here...

I’m sure Danacable is superb. I’m after something less expensive, Moon Audio Dragon seems great too by all accounts. Not sure if Silver Dragon will be too much of a good thing treble wise with Utopia though and Black Dragon is the safer option.

Anyone gone from a 2020 or OG Utopia to the D8000 Pro and thought it was a definite upgrade ? Or is it perhaps more of a side grade…. My music is 90% pop, rock, heavy metal, punk, Americana.

Thanks for that. My GSX-Mini has about 100 hours on it now. And I noticed that the Utopia has really hit its straps impact and slam wise now. It’s intoxicating TBH, I’ll take my GSX-Mini into my local store and compare the Utopia , LCD 5 and D8000 Pro.
