Have been doing more and more reading and watching videos on the ZMF lineup and am actually leaning towards the Atticus, as I was also after a closed can.- scottv50

Chasing Significant Upgrade from Bifrost/Lyr/HD650
I have definitely gone down the ZMF rabbit hole now. Everything I have seen so far makes me think the Aeolus is for me. Thinking I may stick with the Bifrost/Lyr combo for now and only upgrade DAC/Amp once I have had the Aeolus for a while.- scottv50

Chasing Significant Upgrade from Bifrost/Lyr/HD650
Otherwise if the LCD-XC is too heavy, I am looking closely at the Sony MDR-Z1R's. How would these pair with the Burson stack?- scottv50

Chasing Significant Upgrade from Bifrost/Lyr/HD650
I have done some more research and I like the idea of the LCD-XC + Burson Composer 3XP + Burson Solist 3XP combination, but worried about the weight of the LCD-XC's. Anybody use this specific combination that can comment?- scottv50

My current setup is as follows; Mac —> Bifrost 1 (Multibit Upgraded) —> Lyr 1 (stock tubes) —> ALO Audio Jenna Cable —> HD650 I purchased the above setup about 9 years ago and have been enjoying the sound, but I am in a position now to enjoy the benefits of a significant upgrade. Australian Headphone Retailers and Reputations [LISTING]
X2 Have always had a good experience with A2A and I have spent a fair bit of time in the store and on the phone as well as having placed a number of orders with them over the last few years. They also have an excellent range of brands and in Australia there isn't much they don't carry.- scottv50

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Have been using my HD650's with my new ALO Audio Jena cable through my Bifrost/Lyr combo and absolutely love the sound! Started my head-fi journey with the HD650 via a DACport and always thought there was a slight veil. Now with the new cable and DAC/Amp combo these are a completely different...- scottv50
