There is a substantial difference and everyone can hear. details, cleaner sound, blacker background, more linear sound, slight presence effect..gives cymbals more crash etc

The v7 vivid op-amps will have a huge impact in the IV stage. The sound will have more resolution and impact

see if i can revive some interest in this amp. short story; i had some discrete op-amps which had no use. They did not work for my taste in my Burson Audio products i own. That got me thinking, was it possible toi change the op-amps in the Heed Canalot ( which was collecting dust after no use)...

try the dual v7 vivid pro opamp in the i/v stage part.

the vivid V7 has a mild presence effect..so you will hear the cymbal crash very clear and with impact for example

classic on the input..i'd say...mosfet way much better as input buffer

testing the v7 vivids pro; major upgrade from the v6 vivids ( yes they suck in comparison) only thing to notice is ; the v7 vivids does have a slight presence effect second issue..maybe it's me? the pins on the v7s are very stiff. I had problem putting the v7s in my composeer 3x, so to avoid...

well,,, if you get sibilance etc... no worries, opamps from orange amps and muzg audio gets rid of them
