New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
It's been a long time since I sold the WM1A, so it's difficult to give any meaningful comparison. I've also never had any issues with treble on the EX1000. I have a slight dip in my high frequency hearing, maybe it's in that troublesome frequency range, who knows. The WM1A was great, but bulky...- Sarnia

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Now I've got this working it's going to be interesting to try it out. I can't listen to headphones for long due to an ear issue, so I've moved to Tidal from Qobuz Sublime+, as I can't justify the cost. The MQA addition to the DFR made it great value, especially as I got it for half price as an...- Sarnia

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Thanks for the suggestions. I managed to get it working by going into Device Management. When I plugged the Dragonfly Red in it showed a driver error. Uninstalled the driver and when I plugged it in again it worked.- Sarnia

Thanks for the response. It doesn't show in sounds etc at all. I've tried all USB ports, tried restarting too. Very strange.- Sarnia

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
I've just got a Dragonfly Red to try out. It works fine on my Windows 10 laptop, but doesn't work at all on my Windows 10 desktop. It stays in standby (red light) and isn't recognised at all. Has anyone got any ideas why this may be? I have never had any issues with USB on my desktop before...- Sarnia

ADEL™ Drum Earbuds
Has anyone had any contact with Asius recently? Their website looks like it’s not being maintained, and the blog on it hasn’t been updated for almost a year. It has the look of a dead business to me.- Sarnia

Does having tinnitus mean no more headphones?
Very interesting to read people's experience with tinnitus. I got into headphones in December 2016 and like many got bitten by the bug big time. I started with cheap Sennheiser headphones and a cheap Fiio adc/amp. From there I went to a Mojo and HD650/600, quickly followed by HD800S. Shortly...- Sarnia

The Official Sony TA-ZH1ES Hi-Res Headphone Amplifier (Live From IFA 2016)
I thought the HD800S sounded very good with it. The warmth of the TA-ZH1ES helped to offset the slightly thin nature of the headphones. I believe @purk thought it was a very good match too.- Sarnia
