SCL4 vs. New Apple In-Ear for first IEM
I have a pair of the SCL4's/E4c's and I'm quite happy with them, but yes, bass isn't one of its strong points. Mids and highs are excellent though. The one problem with Shure is that the cord keeps getting brittle and breaks. I had a pair of E2's and the cord broke too. It's beside the point...- sandino

Off-topic but... arrrg se530. I just flew from the San Francisco airport and saw a demo pair at brookstones. Should've brought my scissors so I could pilfer it! haha it sounds and feels so much better than my e4's- sandino

E4c cord is breaking. need help
well I just bought my e4c's and it's happening again! I had e2c's and the cord just disintegrated. I decided to upgrade to the e4c, and now the cord's starting to get more brittle and it makes me feel bad. I tried covering it with another wire which just made it stiffer, but it's still...- sandino

sr60 vs sr80
Oh, thanks for clarifying that! Looks like I now need an amp for my SR80's to perform better... Or just enjoy them as they are and then get an amp when I need more kick. :P So... Could we say that my hypothesis is acceptable given that you'll use either of them unamped straight from the source?- sandino
