recycled ink cartridge vs new ink cartridge

As much as I'd love to tell people to save money with refilled/remanufactured/recycled cartridges, I've seen too much trouble spring up from them to suggest it. Stick with the original ones.

    What Antivirus Program for Vista?

Another vote for NOD32, great stuff all around. Kaspersky is good too. Norton is ok, but really, given the other options, I don't see any reason to go with it.

Sony MDR-V6 - way too bright

Yep... I've had them for years now, and used to like them. I got a new pair of speakers (Sansui S-917, loving them), and ended up listening to them and my KSC-35 for a couple of months, and when I went back to the V6 after that, I found them to be pretty much unusuable for music listening...

    Read the FAQ!

I say it's real. There is certainly some mental effect too, but I know that I've gotten a huge diffference out of some phones after they were set out with something running though them for a while.

What headphone would you be owning right now w/o Head-Fi?

I'd be using KSC-35s still myself. Stumbled upon them by accident a long time ago. Actually, thinking about it, I'd probably have a pair of SR60s , had heard good things about them elsewhere.

    Final Decision: Gaming headphones

KSC-35s do sound quite good for music, and are very light and comfortable, but are a tad muddy, and open. I find my 7506s to be great for gaming. Very detailed and sensitive, can hear the slightest little thing clearly in them, and they're not so fatigueing generally for games as for music...

will beyer pads fit on sony v900s?

Well, search relveals they won't fit on the 600s, and I doubt they'll fit on the 900s either. No one talks about v9s, since there doesn't seem to be such a thing. Remember V6 != V600, getting those two confused can be a big mistake I haven't heard the V900s yet, but it seems they are...

    Why Headphones?

The bit oringial thing for me was that I tend to be up late listening to stuff, and those around me don't have the same tastes in music that I do. The cost-benefit advantage is big for me as well. Plus, they do tend to being out details better, and I appreciate that. It's not really things...

Firewire and USB 2.0 with iPod?

Hm, just going to say at that price, might as well get a Firewire/1394 PCI board. CompUSA.com carries them starting at $30, can probaly get them for less elsewhere if a little search is mate, perhaps at pricewatch.com, or find them locally at a place that sells PC hardware.

    Open<$200 + Exercise<$30

KSC-35s are an easy reccomendation for exercise. They sound great for the price, are open, and stay on the head well.

    Inexpensive headphones for piano

I'm looking for a pair of headphones for use with a high end electronic piano for practice, something that would produce the tones well, and accurately. There won't be a seperate amp used. The problem has been finding something that can be gotten quickly and easily in the area, and isn't very...

Is there a way to use headphones for TV?

Some kind of headphone amp, doesn't ahve ot be dedicated, just something with audio line in that has a headphone port, attached to audio outputs from the TV signial. I have my TV set up with my stereo system and just use a headphone out from that. If this is a large TV you have, it probably...

    KSC-35...WOW

The clip goes behind the back of the ear, with the cables pointing downward, a bit towards the back. http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/membe...nfo&userid=145 ^ Picture of them being worn in Audio Redneck's avatar

    KSC-35...WOW

I'm still loving my 35s after years of use I still use my 7506 a lot though. The 35s are warm and very pleasant to listen to for the most part, but I often prefer a more analytical sound. Plus, on some things, they seem rather boomy. They're also one of the most comfortable pairs of...
