    Amazing!! I think CTX-1 is a flagship for Napolex.. They did more dampings and interesting structures for their cans. But CTX-3 was not, they just put drivers in their cans. Very interesting driver materials. Thanks for your wonderful job :)

    I saw your pics. It seems to be very simmilar to mine. The sound stage of M9's was not much wide than current models, but the sound stage level was simmilar to other monitor's I think its midrange was so beautiful... I shares simmilar sound signatures to other audio-technica monitor models

    Interesting! I have CTX-1 mk1 also, but driver seems to be bonded to housing very sticky.. So I gave up :( I'm looking forward for your job!!

    I think difference is just changing magnets. Audio-technica changed magnets to neodymium. Dynamic range was extended. I read some reviews for m9 and m9x, they have similar sound signature. I think they have similar relationships to sony mdr cd900/cd900st

    Hi guys I received ath m9 today. Sound stage is small but bass is deep and vocal sound is amazing. But some times bass blind the midrange. Sound signature is very similar to nowadays audio-technica woods. interesting :)
