Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread

Hey guys I posted about an issue with my TinAudio T2s before. It's cutting out when I'm moving a lot, I assumed it was due to less than ideal MMCX connection and some people had the same issue. I found a simple fix for it and thought I'd share it. IDK if this has been covered before or not...

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread

So, full disclosure, I'm on my third TinAudio T2s now. I've left two of them in my pocket and put my pants in the washer.:laughing::slight_frown::slight_frown: I noticed the right channel is finicky sometimes, I think it's a less than perfect MMCX connection; happens when I'm...

It was done while at work, so I didn't really have any ideal tools and I figured this was a throw-away item now and didn't care if it really got messed up. Here's what I did: Slight twist while prying up at point marked B. You can see the corresponding gouge on point marked A. I didn't pay...

I think I just fixed it. I opened the shell and wiped everything down. I made some gouges and scratches on the shell taking it apart, but after I got them back together, it's working fine again. I wonder if some moisture was still in there and got some grounding/shorting issues.

I found them, I must've not searched correctly earlier cuz I was only seeing $50 T2. I should probably mention, that I have a pretty good water softener in my house and kept aquariums for a while, so I have pretty good confidence on the hardness and stuff of my tap.

I understood it. But, it's possible it's just moisture (hoping that the rinse cycle on the wash cleared it).

Ya know I might try it. They actually went in for a swim like a week or two ago. I hadn't used them to try and dry them out but it's possible there's still moisture. Luckily, I'm asian and so there's always rice in the pantry. I'm pretty sure there was some fabric softener. Lol no worries...

guys some sad news. I accidentally left my Tin Audio T2s in my pocket and put them through the wash and dryer. They don't sound right. The right side seems much louder now than the left. :disappointed::disappointed::disappointed::disappointed: I'm not sure if this is salvageable...

You know, I gave your comment some real thought on my long drive home yesterday since what you said is kind of a head scratcher. While you're right they're not equivalent (I said what I said in an effort to make that comment short, which I probably should have explained since I'm explaining...

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

I'm glad you made this comment; which Superlux? I've been looking for BT headphones that's analytical signature. I've settled for some KZ ZST with their BT dongle, and the sound is quite V shaped and latency is awful. So I'm looking for some flatter Superlux style signature. Are you...

Fair enough. Though personally, I did enjoy the sound more with the wider bore, to my ear it filled out the bottom end to have a more impactful bass (which makes sense, as I now have an actual seal).
