I use both pads too but the G more often.  I wrote to Grado and request they make a mid-cush but they had no plan to. 

I'm curious as to how a small dac (ie. Dragonfly) can be as "good" as a bigger unit (ie. Yulong D100)?  The Dragonfly doesn't have large components (ie. capacitors) so what aspect of that is missing in the music? Or put it directly, what do these large capacitors/components do for the music?

Got a pair of Grado PS-500 with g-cush upgrade on an impulse buy and never looked back.  Just amazing.  An upgraded from Bose AE2.  I can't believe how much music I was missing until now.  

I don't have experience with the other dacs but I just received my Yulong D100 mk.  So far so good.  I had to listen through a few songs for about 30min. to understand where the difference was coming from vs the integrated sound card from my pc using Grado PS500 headphones.  It definitely...

I got one and returned it cause it felt more like a bass boost rather then enhancing the overall sq. Sound got muddy and lost detail...range...Then again, maybe my ps 500 didn't need an amp with iphone. At least I save money for a pc dac.
