I just noticed that the text is the same for the regular Phönix. But if I remember correctly, it comes with a 2.2mm cable and a 4.4mm adapter. Could it be that it is the same case here?

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting such drastic improvements. I initially thought the LE = OG + more bass + cool faceplate. Good to know!

Could you please elaborate on this? Which aspect of technicalities do you think differs?

My nightstalker cable eventually got quite soft and flexible. But still no comparison to the stock IE8 cable, which is IMHO still the best.
